would WTF stand for something besides "wotokahan things found?" just curious. :) i like yours better.
looks to me like tire ramps for driving a car/tractor onto a flatbed truck/trailer. but i can see how a conveyor belt might make more sense. so ask your dad! or does uncle doug know?
A conveyer belt that you put the cows on, which leads them into a giant machine (not unlike the machine that used on the Sneetches to remove the stars upon thars). They come out on the other side as hamburgers.
WTF?! I thought this was a clever idea and that no one would participate. I was wrong. But now I need to figure out what to do when a person does win. I think I'll mail them, uh, something. Because getting things in the mail is fun. Getting things in the mail from a farm is funner.
For the sake of ending this one, cupcake was correct to begin with, in a vauge way. It is a disassembled conveyer of freshly made square bales. It's called a kicker. It punts the bale from the baler to the, uh, kicker wagon. It's real fun to see it work, as it takes a pretty good shot to throw a 50-60lb bale 20 feet.
cupcake, email me you address and when i get around to a non-procrastinating day, a gift you shall receive.
Steve, I will keep score.
cupcake - 5 points imploden - 1 point sailfish - 1 point pat - 2 points ian - 3 points pirate - half a point stephen - half a point
Somehow I suspect employees and former employees are not eligible for this contest, eh?
What is charged for 1/4, 1/2, whole beefs? If I can figure out the logisics of bringing it back I could probably sell a good bit of beef to my co-workers.
1.75$ pound hanging weight. no discount for buying more than a quarter at a time. about .75$ per pound processing to boot. i don't pay much attention to the money but i think the beefs are 1200lbs ish live. 600-700lbs is hanging weight. so up to 400$ per quarter.

Disassembled Conveyer belt?
It looks like some sort of water transporting device.

Sweet! If you're going to send me a cow as a prize, please ship it to my office. Then I can ride it home over the Brooklyn Bridge.
